Each launcher area is composed of three silos, each with an access tunnel
entering it about a third from the top. They were all filled with deep,
stagnant water to one degree or another.<P>

All of the 'rooms' that the tunnels connect have false floors
made of metal. Here we are standing at the junction leading to the first
of the three silos in Launch Area 3. To the left is the fuel silo, and the
far tunnel leads to the rocket silo and the control silo.<P>
